Wildhaus - Alt St. Johann

The community of Wildhaus-Alt St. Johann is the tourist hub of the Toggenburg region. Here, in the valley between the Churfirsten and the Säntis massif, you can enjoy the whole variety of winter snow sports slopes and summer hiking trails. The mountain railroads take you comfortably to the summits, the most famous of which is probably the Chäserrugg with its stately 2262 m height. Halfway up is the Klangweg, a walkway lined with instruments that gives shape to the theme of sound. The Obertoggenburg has dedicated itself body and soul to sound. On the opposite sunny side lies Gamplüt, where in summer as in winter you can go up with the solar cable car and down again to the valley with all kinds of vehicles. And as if this were not enough, Wildhaus-Alt St. Johann has numerous idyllic bathing spots.
