Tour of Lake St. Catherine

The trail follows the shores of the lake through fir and beech forests and alternating shady stretches with panoramic openings. Along the way there are several viewpoints from which to admire the lake, often characterized by waters with emerald green reflections, in which the Dolomite peaks are reflected on clear days.

One of the most characteristic passages is the wood-and-iron bridge at the halfway point, from which there is a sweeping view of the entire basin. In some sections the view also opens up to the surrounding mountains, including the Three Peaks of Lavaredo and Mount Agudo.

The trail is well equipped and easily accessible, with rest areas, benches and refreshment stations along the banks. Because of its accessibility, it is ideal for families and those seeking a relaxing walk surrounded by nature, enjoyable in all seasons.
