The heart of the hike is the Brent de l'Art, a deep gorge carved over time by the Ardo stream, characterized by high rock walls with reddish hues that create an almost wild and unexpected atmosphere. Along the way there are small bridges, shady stretches and viewpoints that make the walk varied and never monotonous.
The trail is well marked and suitable for hikers with a minimum of walking habits, ideal for those who want an experience that combines nature, geology and landscape. A perfect itinerary to take the time to observe, listen and be surprised by an authentic corner of the Belluno Dolomites.
Hiking boots with non-slip soles. In winter useful poles and crampons in case of mud, snow or ice. Appropriate clothing for the season.
It is recommended that the route be approached only with hiking shoes with good non-slip soles; crampons may be useful in snow or ice. Trekking poles help maintain balance in the trickier sections.
Always check weather and terrain conditions before setting out and avoid the route in case of persistent bad weather or severe frost. The route is not recommended in heavy snow conditions. It is a good idea to inform someone of your itinerary and bring appropriate clothing for the season.
