To the left of the little Chapel of the Generoso, panoramic steps lead easily to the summit, situated at a height of 1704 m. The panorama that can be enjoyed from this position is superb. One can admire the majestic Swiss 4000m quartet: the Monte Rosa, the Matterhorn, the Jungfrau and the Finsteraarhorn. Further below, the pre-alpine countryside with the lakes of Verbano and Ceresio. To the north, the Pizzo Vogorono can be seen with the Adula and the Cristallina peaks. On the horizon even the mountains of the Engadine and the Bernina massif are visible. On very clear days, to the south, it is possible to glimpse the large Po Valley with the cities of Milan, Novara and Turin.
