Essences and knowledge - Stage 1: Calosso - Moasca

The itinerary starts from the Piana del Salto area, in the Calosso area. You advance in a north-eastern direction, up to Cascina Perrone. Here you turn left, proceeding in a north-west direction, crossing Variant 1B of the itinerary and subsequently Variant 1A, finally arriving near the Bric Chiccarella. Before the top of the hill, turn right, heading north, proceeding uphill on the ridge, then passing halfway up the Bric Gesbido and reaching Mola. From here you advance even further, halfway up the slope, to the lower part of Bric Moncucco. The route turns further south-east, until near the Ferrero farm. Here you turn left, following the road, and then proceed further, climbing the slope of the hill on which the town of Moasca stands and finally ending the itinerary on the front of the ancient castle.
