From the hamlet ofPeccia (1449 m) climb crossing AlpMontata until you reach the beautiful basin of Alp Larecchio (2044 m). Here, it is possible to find hospitality at the homonymous farm. From this point on, continue uphill to reach the historical Ospizio Sottile atValdobbia hill (2480 m), a pass already used from the early 1700s. The firstfacility opened here as early as 1787 as a refuge for the emigrants headed intoFrance and Switzerland.
From Peccia (1449 m) you go up crossing the Montata alp until you reach the beautiful Larecchio alp basin (2044 m). Here it is possible to find hospitality at the farm of the same name. From this point we continue the climb until we reach the historic Ospizio Sottile on the Valdobbia hill (2480 m), a pass already frequented since the beginning of the 1700s and which saw the birth of the first structure already in 1787 as a refuge for emigrants heading to France and Swiss.
Considering that the Tour of the Great Crossing of Valsesia takes place along mixed high mountain routes, the use of suitable equipment, fleece boots and a waterproof wind jacket is recommended
