Trübliweg

Whether from Sax to Frümsen or from Frümsen to Sax: Hiking the Trübliweg at the foot of the southeastern Alpstein range is a pure landscape experience - even more: it is also an uplifting excursion into the fascinating world of vine culture and wine.
The Trübliweg, launched in 2002 as part of the Regio-Plus project "Persönlichkeit Werdenberg" by local winemakers and opened in 2004, leads on a roughly one and a half hour hike (pure walking time) past the beautifully located vineyards Wisflegge, Rosenberg, Spielberg, Winterberg, and Wingert. Along the way, nine entertaining information boards provide knowledge about vines, grapes, and wine. And by arrangement, the four winemakers gladly open their cozy wine huts and presses to smaller or larger groups for private and business events.

At the winegrowers' festival, the winemakers open their doors and invite you to linger with food and drink. The winegrowers' festival takes place every last Sunday in September.
