This very short route will allow you to discover Elne's rich heritage, including the cathedral, the cloister, the Terrus museum, some Roman remains and the old town gates during your stroll through the historic centre. In Ortaffa, it's the unusual bell tower that will catch your eye.
2. At the ice factory, continue along the railway line.
3. Turn right onto Route de Bages and continue straight on Avenue du Général de Gaulle.
4. Go up to the right, passing the lime kiln, and turn right into rue du Couvent towards the Tourist Office. From here, follow the signs to discover the historic centre.
