Cyclosport route 10 - The three bumps near Foix

The Tour de France stage on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, starting from Carcassonne and finishing in Foix will highlight this town which has become a key stop on the Tour in recent years.

This route starting from Foix, where its famous castle stands, is therefore one of the best of the destination. It takes you into the Ariège valley from where you will do three climbs of increasing difficulty with an average gradient of 8% over the whole route. A warm-up with the climb of Seignaux (770m), then the col du Traucadou which tests you with its 10.5 km of climb, and the last big challenge: the Prat d’Albis, arrival of the Tour de France in 2019.

A route that will leave you speechless at the finish because of its exceptional panorama.
