The 250 ha of lakes on the Hostens estate originate from the excavations of this former open-cast mine. The site, owned by the Conseil Départemental de la Gironde, has been the subject of a major development program linked to the discovery of nature and relaxation. It offers a multitude of leisure and outdoor activities. Your exploration will lead you, following marked paths, from a marsh to a pond, from modest bodies of water to vast lakes
