Sentiero Italia D22N - Stage Rifugio Bosio to Alpe Airale - Rifugio Gerli Porro to Alpe Ventina

This medium-length stage with a significant elevation gain takes the Sentiero Italia on the northern side of Monte Disgrazia, following a long arc route overlooking the Valmalenco. After leaving the Rifugio Bosio Galli, you reach Alpe Airale and continue mostly flat until Alpe Mastabbia. From here, a gradual descent leads to the uphill hamlets of Chiesa Valmalenco before starting a long and steep ascent to Passo Ventina at 2676 meters above sea level. A steep and fairly long descent follows, reaching the Ventina stream, then the homonymous refuge, and shortly after, the Rifugio Gerli Porro.
