This is the home of the beaver – Walk through the Aachried from Rickelshausen to Moos

Until it flows into Lake Constance, the Radolfzell Aach winds through the Aachried near Moos in many loops. The area is protected and provides a habitat for endangered plants and animal species. It is an ideal retreat for birds.

Walkers can explore the reed area from a car park opposite the Rickelshausen solar park. Tall willows line the path. Along the way, there are benches for resting. The path ends in Moos by the inn Grüner Baum. The entire round trip is about 4 km.

Those who want to start the walk in Moos can park at the parking lot behind the community center. From there, you get to Böhringer Straße via Friedhofstraße and continue on the actual hiking trail towards Rickelshausen. Near the inn "Grüner Baum" are bus stops for connections to Radolfzell and towards Rielasingen-Worblingen.

Public toilets are located at the harbor master's office (early April to late October), about 550 m from the edge of Moos to the harbor, as well as in the Moos community center (year-round Monday – Friday 8:00 – 12:00, additionally Wednesday 14:00 – 18:00). The toilet and parking lot may be used at the inn Grüner Baum, corner Böhringer Straße – Bohlinger Straße.
