Calw road bike round route 1

Calw - Hirsau - Ottenbronn - Münklingen - Merklingen - Malmsheim - Perouse - Rutesheim - Heimerdingen - Eberdingen - Riet - Enzweihingen - Oberriexingen - Sersheim - Hohenhaslach - Ochsenbach - Diefenbach - Freudenstein - Maulbronn - Ötisheim - Mühlacker - Pinache - Wiernsheim - Tiefenbronn - Hausen - Neuhausen - Unterhaugstedt - Bad Liebenzell - Calw

The route starts on the B 463 towards Hirsau. There turn right and climb steeply to the plateau near Ottenbronn. In Malmsheim first turn right towards Renningen, then pass the church and continue through Rutesheim to Heimerdingen. There at the traffic light turn left towards Weissach, then in the valley turn right over Eberdingen to Enzweihingen. Follow the noisy B 10 for about one kilometer on the right, then pass under the valley bridge on the left and reach Oberriexingen along the Enz. Through the town and further on to Sersheim, where first turn right and then left towards Hohenhaslach. Along the vineyards of the Stromberg to the T-junction near Sternenfels. Turn left and in Diefenbach turn right towards Freudenstein. In a curve turn left and cycle uphill through the forest to Maulbronn, where a visit to the former monastery is worthwhile. Leave the town at the roundabout towards 'Mühlacker/Ötisheim'. In Mühlacker turn left and for a few hundred meters on B 10 to the signpost pointing right to Wiernsheim. Via Mönsheim and Wimsheim to Tiefenbronn, where follow the sign 'Bad Liebenzell'; at the roundabout on the town exit turn right down into the Würm valley. To the left it goes upstream along the Würm to Hausen. There turn right to climb the steep hill again to Lehningen. In Neuhausen at the hotel 'Pforzheim turn right, then left towards Bad Liebenzell. Back to Calw via Hirsau, where at Café Essig by the Nagold bridge take the bike path.
