This moderately difficult route initially follows the same path as route 7, then leads up to Frauenwald. On the return towards Weiherloch, you see on the right the remains of an old hill castle, affectionately called the "Schlössle" by the people of Wolfach. Here the lords of Wolva had their ancestral seat before they built a low castle down in the valley where the Fürstenberger Castle stands today.
