Chalet Golden Eagle

Our Golden Eagle Chalet is a spacious and beautifully crafted four bedroom log cabin that simply oozes charm. Its exceptional high spec includes under-floor heating throughout, a romantic wood burning oven with oven bench and large comfortably furnished living and dining area. There is plenty of space for two families or a group of up to eight friends with fun being guaranteed.

The Golden Eagle Chalet is located North of the Turracher Lake right next to the slope (Märchenwaldabfahrt). This run leads directly to a heated six seater chairlift (Zirbenwaldbahn). The lift will bring you to the top of the Wildkopf mountain. From here it is an easy blue run down into the centre of the Turracher Höhe action. After your day of activities and maybe some après–ski at the Kornock or Seewirt, you can ski down the path next to the Seewirt hotel directly to the chalets. On foot it is an easy 10 minutes stroll.

The Golden Eagle enjoys magnificent views of the Eisenhut (2441m), the tallest mountain in Turracher Höhe as well as views of the slope. After a long day of skiing or hiking enjoy the sauna or a soak in the heated outdoor hot tub and unwind with a glass of wine in front of your own wood-burning oven.

Since 2007 many families and groups of friends have made happy memories in our stunning log cabin “Kreischberg Lodge” in St. Georgen ob Murau. It was a dream of ours to further expand with a couple of chalets in Turracher Höhe which is what we believe one of the most beautiful skiing and hiking resorts in Austria.

We are proud to be able to offer you two brand-new chalets in Turracher Höhe, available for rental from 03-12-2011. As with “Kreischberg Lodge” we have individually designed and furnished the Little Badger and Golden Eagle Chalets to the highest standard. They are each built in the charming Canadian log cabin style and are hand-crafted from natural logs making each house absolutely unique.
