Educational cheese trail along the Pfänder ridge

The Josef Rupp Cheese Hiking Trail runs for more than eight kilometres between meadows and forests and presents magnificent views of Lake Constance.Part of the route has been laid out as an educational trail. A total of 15 illustrated boards provide interesting facts to hikers about the history and production of cheese in Vorarlberg while pointing out unique aspects of the landscape and the efforts to preserve it. The boards also explain how farmers and alpine dairies, restaurateurs and retailers are working together
