From Péronne to Froissy in the Vallée de Somme

Starting from the marina, you first ride along the Canal du Nord, then quickly the towpath turns west and the canal becomes smaller: you are on the banks of the Somme canal. The route then continues through a wild environment, with fauna and flora on display! In Frise, the route takes the small district road along the Somme; don't miss the climb to the viewpoints for a different look at the valley. Finally, between Eclusier-Vaux and Cappy, the towpath is not yet completed, we invite you to follow the signs via Suzanne to reach Cappy. Every summer, the port of Cappy, animated by the Pays du coquelicot tourist office, offers to trade your bike for a kayak, paddleboard, or even a gyropod! Give it a try! Arrival in Froissy, a small hamlet of La-Neuville-les-Bray. At this location, you can discover the Haute Somme small train and its museum and stop at the lock keeper's house.
