Hotel Alpenrose

Location:
The Tauplitzalm has been known as a winter sports resort for over 60 years and in 1936 was equipped with the world’s first T-bar lift. It was during this period that a number of top national and international skiers came to the fore.

The "Alm", as it is called locally, is known as a “snow store” and it is not unusual for the area to be blanketed in three to four metres of natural snow. Naturally there are also state-of-the-art snow cannons to cater for all eventualities.

Stay in the middle of the ski area:
There is no traffic. We pick up our guests from the Hollhaus car park with caterpillar vehicles and take them to the hotel.

Cuisine
One of our stand-out attractions is our cuisine,
with most of our guests returning again and again to enjoy our fabulous fare.Naturally we always endeavour to use premium-quality locally-sourced organic products.

The house chef is constantly working on new creations which are eagerly consumed by our guests (many of whom have been regulars for a number of years).

There is also a weekly fondue evening or gala buffet. The chef’s wine cellar comprises a huge selection of premium-quality wines, most of which are Austrian.

Wellness:
After a day of exertions on the pistes of the Tauplitzalm, what better way to wind down than by spending an afternoon in our revamped and extended wellness area.

You can choose between a Finnish sauna, Sanarium with aroma steam bath, Aquaviva and coloured light and our Physiotherm infrared cabin.

Freshen up in our experience shower with ice mist and tropical rain and relax in our tastefully appointed rest room.
