Away from everyday life, at an altitude of 1,700 metres, you can of course ski in - ski out in winter on the Goldener Berg. Free from the crowds, get on your skis right outside the hotel and off you go - that has been the Goldener Berg for over 100 years. But the same applies to exercise in the winter wonderland without skis! Directly from the hotel there are many kilometres of wonderful hiking trails, cross-country ski trails or Nordic walking and jogging trails, which are perfectly groomed every day. All of these sports, in marvellous natural surroundings, are easy to learn and bring joy to the heart. The snow-covered mountain panorama around the Hotel Goldener Berg is also a perfect backdrop for mediation, alpine bathing, heart and tidal walks.

A winter's day off the piste could look like this: The sun tickles you awake, your first view falls on the snow-covered peaks around the Goldener Berg. Let your body gently awaken with a yoga session. Enjoy a balanced breakfast in the panoramic restaurant with a spectacular view of the white splendour. Then it's off with warm clothes for one of the guided tours into the magnificent nature that surrounds us. Time to lie in the sun and read a good book. Let your gaze wander over the mountains and the vastness - let your mind wander, your head is empty - relieved. Whether it's a soothing treatment of some kind in the Alpine Spa or simply a dip in the whirlpool in the snow - you decide. Afterwards, our Dine-Around half-board offers a culinary variety that is second to none! Every day you can choose between 4 different restaurants in the hotel. You can expect plant-based alpine cuisine in our award-winning Johannesstübli, Austrian classics and Grandes Piéces in the Dirndlstüberl, daily changing, multi-course menus with fantastic mountain views in our panorama restaurant, as well as fondue and stone grill specialities in the rustic parlours of the Alter Goldener Berg.
We also offer our Open Kitchen once a week, where you can stroll through the kitchen and look over the shoulders of our chefs. (When booking with Dine-Around half board)
Of course, we can also serve you vegan, vegetarian, ketogenic or lactose-free dishes on request.
Whichever restaurant you choose, you have the option of choosing an enjoyable glass of wine from one of Austria's largest wine cellars.
